The International Patient Department (IPD) at Dr. Tizro’s Limited Surgery and Infertility Center is a specialized unit established to facilitate the admission and treatment of international patients and those seeking VIP services. This department coordinates every step of the patient journey—from the first contact to treatment completion and post-care follow-up.
Health tourism refers to traveling from one’s place of residence to receive medical care, improve health, or restore physical and mental well-being for a period of more than 24 hours and less than one year. An international patient is defined as a person who travels from another country to receive medical services at this center.
Following the successful experience of leading countries in medical tourism, establishing an International Patient Department has become a global standard in healthcare centers. In line with this approach, Dr. Tizro’s Limited Surgery and Infertility Center has developed this department to provide integrated, fast, and high-quality services to international patients.
With an experienced medical team, advanced equipment, and specialized services in infertility treatment and minor surgeries, the center has earned the trust of patients from abroad. The IPD unit manages all processes, including admission planning, physician assignment, cost estimation, coordination with facilitators, welcoming patients and their companions, and continuous follow-up throughout treatment. The IPD physician supervises the entire treatment pathway, and priority scheduling is available to ensure faster and more efficient care.
By participating in medical tourism events and exhibitions and promoting its specialized services, the center actively works to attract international patients.
